Why this website?

Lincoln refused to repair my Lincoln LS while it was under warranty...until it was out of warranty, at which point I had to pay for it myself.

Fact

I bought my first new car, a brand new Lincoln at a total cost of $41,712.

Fact

At 19,231 miles, while the vehicle was under warranty, I reported a noise coming from the transmission to Witt Lincoln Mercury located at 588 Camino Del Rio N, San Diego, CA 92108 in San Diego. Witt Lincoln Mercury could not find the problem.

Fact

At 21,023 miles, while the vehicle was still under warranty, I again reported a noise coming from the transmission to Witt Lincoln Mercury. Witt Lincoln Mercury could not find the problem and refused to inspect the vehicle until the problem was found.

Fact

At 29,311 miles, while the vehicle was still under warranty, Witt Lincoln Mercury flat out refused to inspect the vehicle a third time, even though the transmission still had problems.

Fact

At 42,023 miles, the transmission on my Lincoln failed. Witt Lincoln Mercury refused to repair the vehicle while it was under warranty (time), therefore I had to now pay for the repairs once the transmission finally failed.

Fact

Neither Witt Lincoln Mercury located at 588 Camino Del Rio N, San Diego, CA 92108 in San Diego, nor Ford Motor Company agreed to honor covering the cost of repairs.

My brand new Lincoln, lasted less than a year. This website isn't about a car that turned out to be a lemon. It's about a company that abandons it's customers, and squirms it's way out of the warranty on it's products.

Never Buy a Lincoln!

More than 1.5 million visitors and growing. Please keep sending me your stories and feeback. I hope this site has helped many, many of you Never Buy a Lincoln.

Since purchasing my brand new Lincoln I have had to pay a total of $5,092.84, in multiple repairs, all out of pocket.

This website is here to help others avoid the astronomical repair costs that I have had since purchasing my Lincoln.

If someone had told me that my brand new Lincoln would cost me more than $5,000 in repair costs, I would have seriously reconsidered purchasing a Lincoln. If someone had told me how Ford Motor Company handles it customer support, I would probably be driving a nice Cadillac instead.

Well, I am here to tell you. I have had to pay more than $5,000 in repair costs, before my vehicle was barely past 42,000 miles. The Ford Motor Company warranty covered $0 of those repairs.

This website is here to help you reconsider before purchasing any new vehicle, and help you make the right choice.

Yes No WTF
This website does not defame or slander any auto manufacturer or dealership in any way. This website is here simply to provide facts.

I am not saying "Lincolns are lemons", nor am I saying "Witt Lincoln Mercury located at 588 Camino Del Rio N, San Diego, CA 92108 couldn't care less about it's customers or quality of repair service". I am simply saying "Never buy a Lincoln".
